The GlenAllachie 12 Years Old is the flagship expression of The GlenAllachie Distillery, located in the heart of Speyside, Scotland. Carefully crafted and matured for 12 years, this award-winning single malt showcases the distillery’s commitment to quality and traditional whisky-making.
Master Distiller Billy Walker selected a unique combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, virgin oak, and red wine barriques to create a whisky of remarkable complexity and richness. Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with no added colouring, it preserves its full natural character.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Butterscotch, honey, raisins, mocha, and dark chocolate
Palate: Marzipan, cinnamon spice, dried fruits, orange peel, and rich oak
Finish: Long, warming, with notes of cocoa and lingering sweetness
