Refund and Returns Policy

At Batavia Liquor, we are committed to delivering authentic products in excellent condition. Due to the nature of alcoholic beverages, all returns and refunds are subject to the policy outlined below.
Return or exchange requests must be submitted within 24 hours from the time the order is marked as delivered. Requests made after this period will not be accepted under any circumstances.
To be eligible for a return:
The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original sealed packaging
The product must be in the same condition as received
Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) is required
For hygiene, safety, and regulatory reasons, opened or partially consumed alcoholic beverages are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
Opened, unsealed, or consumed alcoholic beverages
Products damaged due to customer handling
Items returned without original packaging
Orders reported after 24 hours from delivery
Promotional or discounted items (unless defective upon arrival)
Shipping & Regulatory Disclaimer
Shipping alcoholic beverages between cities or regions may be subject to local regulations, courier policies, and inspections by authorized authorities.
In the event that an order is:
Delayed,
Rejected,
Seized,
Confiscated,
Or held by customs or government authorities at the destination city or courier warehouse,
Such situations are beyond the seller’s responsibility and are not eligible for refund, replacement, or compensation.
Customers are responsible for understanding and accepting the delivery regulations applicable to their destination.
Refunds
Once an eligible return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider or bank
Shipping fees are non-refundable
Batavia Liquor reserves the right to refuse refunds if the returned item does not meet the eligibility criteria.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund:
- Please recheck your bank account.
- Contact your payment provider or credit card company.
- Contact your bank, as processing times may vary.
If you have completed all the steps above and still have not received your refund, please contact our customer service team.
Exchanges
Exchanges are only accepted for items that arrive defective or damaged due to our error.
To request an exchange:
Contact our customer service within 24 hours of delivery
Provide clear photos or videos as evidence
The product must remain unopened and unused
Approved exchanges will be processed for the same item only, subject to stock availability.
Sale Items
Only items purchased at regular price are eligible for return.
Sale or promotional items are non-refundable, unless proven defective upon arrival.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to the recipient, a store credit may be issued upon approved return.
If the gift was shipped to the purchaser first, any approved refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Shipping fees are non-refundable, and return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns. Batavia Liquor is not responsible for items lost during return shipping.
